Warning – Bad Weather to bring SEVERE Winds and Flooding in the UK Tomorrow

Although the ferocious 90-100mph winds do not pose a threat for tomorrow, conditions will still be severe across South West England, Wales, Northern England, Coastal regions of Ireland and southern and western Scotland through tomorrow thanks to storm Callum. 70-80mph wind gusts will affect this area. Some significant travel disruption is likely here through tomorrow. Some trees could be brought down which poses a risk to power lines.

The rest of England can expect a very windy day to with gusts over 50mph in many locations leading to some localized travel disruption. For mainland Scotland and Ireland, winds not quite as strong as originally forecast, however this wont be the case for the west coast of Ireland and Scotland with gusts well over 60mph. FLOODING is also a risk, with south Wales having the highest risk, some 4 inches of rain possible by Saturday..

Other areas at risk of flooding are: South West England, Cumbria and Southern Scotland. Any rain early on across mainland England will clear later on however it will continue to poor in the west which is obviously generating a flood risk however.
