REST OF THE WEEK + WEEKEND
Friday predominantly cloudy, light drizzly rain affecting many areas. Saturday better, still breezy but lengthy sunny spells. More in the way of cloud in the west on Sunday though still pleasantly warm, sunny in the east.
An increasing risk of scatterd downpours, some torrential with thunder possibly on Monday. Though the humid air meaning a very warm day (different in Scotland / NIre – fresher and brighter). Though rain will later arrive across southern regions on Tuesday, the timing of this is a little uncertain however this rain could prove disruptive, lasting into Wednesday across central areas of England.
The Atlantic is predicted to “roar back” again slightly from next Thursday (17th) on wards. Low pressure, positioned perhaps over Northern Ireland, meaning longer spells of rain and wind, with temperatures cooler than average for all but perhaps the far south east which may import some humid, unstable French air from time to time.
