Winter Storm advisories are currently in force for North and South Dakota, Northern Nebraska and Minnesota as residual snow flurries from the winter storm currently in place across the North West that are forecast to spread east wards, in particular on Monday.

Winter Storm Advisories have been issued for the next 72 hours in the regions mentioned above, especially over 300ft elevation for the remainder of Saturday, Sunday and Monday with up to 6″ (1/2 a foot) of snow. Below 100m, winter storm advisories are in force with the potential of snow becoming significant, traveling in the area is expected to be made more difficult than usual as a result of the severe weather, especially on Saturday night (patchy) and also Monday.
