The winter storm (named Caly) will then bring widespread heavy snow this weekend in the North West before transferring to the Lakes and Eastwards into New England into Monday.
WINTER STORM CALY: Winter storm Caly will bring general persistent snow to the North West on Saturday, dumping 2-8" here and then heading East, reaching the lakes by Sunday night, where it will become heavier and dump 6-10" right across from North Dakota to New England, the diving line between rain/snow is PA/WV border, the East Coast will see a wintry mix of rain sleet snow and then potential for an ice event next week here as very cold air floods in behind.
