The current hot weather has meant that many thousands (hundred of thousands) have fled to the coasts for some Summer-time enjoyment. However, that may come with a price, as packed sites at many popular coastal destinations have occurred today and yesterday.
With most Brits now holidaying from home – perhaps we can expect more of this over the Summer unless the government and local councils / authorities take some new measures.
The following tweets are some examples of “Jam Packed” beaches where distances between visitors appear to be quite small. Examples include Brighton and Bournemouth, where high levels of visitors are very apparent.

The very hot weather isn’t expected to last much longer – cooler conditions are expected to arrive by the weekend. However, there is a risk of some thunderstorms both tonight in the west and tomorrow for more central and eastern areas.
