The department of Health and Social Care recently tweeted regarding today’s latest Covid-19 statistics. Sadly, an extra 627 people have died after testing positive for Coronavirus in the latest 24 hour period (up to 12th May 2020). This is the largest daily increase for 6 days – since the 6th of May 2020.
As of 9am 12 May, there have been 2,007,146 tests, with 85,293 tests on 11 May.
1,460,517 people have been tested of which 226,463 tested positive.

The U.S. has recorded an additional 680 Covid-19 related deaths so far today, with Italy and Spain’s daily Covid-19 related deaths consistently being below 200 at present, with 172 and 176 Covid-19 related deaths recorded today in Italy and Spain respectively.
