Snow forecast for parts of the UK tomorrow:

Snow is possible for parts of the UK through tomorrow, Saturday 2nd January 2021. Most areas will remain dry, with a push of colder air meaning temperatures will climb to just 2-4C for many inland. The airmass will also be quite unstable, meaning a rash of showers is possible across Northern Ireland, Northern Scotland, parts of North Wales & Devon. Here, scattered accumulations of 1-3cm are likely above 100 metres of elevation, and a very scattered dusting to 1cm below this elevation.

During the morning, however, a trough is likely to develop over the North Sea. This will head inland into Northern England and the North Midlands, producing scattered accumulations of snow. Up to 3cm is possible during the afternoon in these areas, but again we are talking about showers here. Elsewhere will remain largely dry. The upcoming week is looking cold, with a further risk of snow in places.
