UK Railway staff ordered not to mention gender in announcements

LNER (London North Eastern Railway Staff) have been encouraged not to mention gender following recent dispute between passenger and railway staff.

The dispute involved one passenger who complained following a conductor announcement beginning with “Ladies and gentlemen”.
